This website is created about the 6 generations of the Ed Nygrin (1864-1929) and Emma Nygrin (1869-1949) family and the Jens P Carlson (03/03/1868-04/21/1937) and Emma M Carlson (05/14/1878-05/04/1963) family that started in Hutto, Texas. I am the 4th generation. I will also include other family members on this website. This includes my mother's family the Alexanders . I have included a page of pictures of the Hutto ISD (one school) where my parents and my sister and me attended and graduated. Everything is different now, some of the old school buildings are gone. Some of the original buildings have been changed. This family website will include photos of our beloved family pets. I married twice, I have two children and have included information concerning their fathers. My grandson enjoys the early pictures of his grandpa. There are many pictures that they have not seen. I hope you enjoy my personal photography photos. Since retirement, I enjoy this hobby.
Yes, many of my relatives are now gone but not forgotten. I learned from my parents (Albert Ray Nygrin, Jr & Edith Mae Townsend Nygrin) and my Nygrin grandparents (Albert Nygrin Sr & Caroline Nygrin) to honor and visit family graves when possible. Growing up, many times on Sunday (after Church and lunch) we would get in the car, get a soda, take a drive and usually end up visiting family graves. We would walk around family graves and my mother and grandmother would tell us family stories. It is a joy to leave them flowers. I hope this tradition is passed on to my daughter and grandchildren. I make my own grave flower arrangements and usually twice a year, in the summer and at Christmas time, my daughter and grandson help me deliver the flowers.
This website was created for the family and friends of the Nygrin and Carlson families that started in Hutto, Texas.
Following is for those who have left us, in their honor:

Psalm 23
Growing up, my grandparents (Albert Nygrin, Sr & Caroline Carlson Nygrin), my parents (Albert Ray Nygrin, Jr & Edith Mae Townsend Nygrin), my sister, and me would attend the Methodist Church in Hutto, Texas. Sundays were enjoyable. We would go to Church, have 'dinner', sometimes go to the Krueger farm where my Nygrin grandparents farmed. My dad enjoyed making homemade ice cream with his hand cranked ice cream machine. Drives out in the country were fun.
